Something REALLY SPECIAL or Gulf Coast Sooners

Hey Sooners,

You've had plenty of time to respond - - so here it is, by an overwhelming majority our Fiesta Bowl Watch party will be held at Beef O'Brady's in SPANISH FORT!!! Hopefully, ALL of you Sooners in Baldwin County and in the Pensacola area will make it a point to be present. I believe the location is ideal, not only because of the response, BUT because all previous watch parties this year have been in Mobile.

NOW - - here is something different and SPECIAL!!! One of our Gulf Coast Sooners has made tickets available for the GMAC BOWL on the 6th of January at 7:00pm TULSA vs BOWLING GREEN. (We are guessing that we'll have 15. or so, tickets available.) Hey, it's not the Sooners, but it will have an OKLAHOMA flavor. Tulsa will bring the nation's TOP RANKED offense to the game - - averaging almost 370 yards per game. (ESPN will carry the game and it's my hope that we can make the BOOMER SOONER echo loud enough that the TV announcers will pick up on it.) Some of our group already have tickets and are planning a tail gate party - - PERHAPS we can plan with them and make this a really exciting event for all of us. (More on this opportunity later.)

I will begin NOW to make a list of those who will be attending our Fiesta Bowl Watch Party and the GMAC tickets will go to those who sign up the earliest for our watch party. (Guess what, I've just signed up for the watch party and I get the first ticket.) The tickets will be awarded at the end of Fiesta Bowl as will a good number of Sooner Door Prizes. There is a large stuffed animal (with a Sooner collar) for one of our lucky children. (Hey, let's "rais'em" right.)
