It's Halloween - - so let's get dressed up and ready to make some noise. My suggestion for Halloween attire - - Crimson and Cream should be a great color and wearing a Wildcat costume will not be the popular selection - - and, certainly, NOT the purple variety.
OK, that's enough of that. The Gulf Coast Sooner Watch Party will give you a wonderful opportunity to avoid the trick or treat crowd heading for your front door as evening falls on Saturday. So spruce up your Sooner gear and head for Spanish Fort for the 6:00pm kick off.
Sam Bradford, our Heisman winning QB, has announced that he will have surgery this week and has, probably, played his last game for the Sooners. All those who are a part of Sam's life - - family, coaches, team mates, and fans wish him the very best. His attitude and skills rank him as one of the all time Sooner greats. He will be on the sidelines for the remainder of the season - - as a "coach" for our QB and as a leader for our team. Thanks to a great Sooner - - Sam Bradford!!!
I'll be making my annual trip to Oklahoma this week-end for the game and - - with the injury situation the way it is - - will be ready to take the field for the Sooners, if needed. . NOW, if I can make the trip to Norman and be ready to play - - you should be able to drive to Beef O'Brady's and yell your head off the Sooners. (Being it's Halloween - - heads being "yelled off" should not surprise anyone.) Every thing is in order for another great watch party - - share the fun.
